The restaurant is situated at the back of the hotel next to the popular bar area. It serves a mix of cuisine including some local favourites and European dishes. The hotel serves an excellent full breakfast.
The exterior of the Hotel is quite modern, it is low rise and is situated in a leafy green suburb of Birmingham.
The Great Barr hotel is undoubtedly one of the best 3-star hotels in Birmingham, set in beautiful grounds and just 20 minutes from the city centre. The hotel is housed in a contemporary building with 105 tastefully furnished rooms and suites offering all the facilities expected of a 3 star hotel including satellite TV, Internet, playstation and computer rental. Many of the rooms have a wonderful view of the gardens. The Great Barr is ideally located for Birmingham and the midlands, Literally 5 minutes drive from the M6 Jnc 7. Much easier than driving through the city centre. Leave @ Junction 7 -M6 Motorway, follow A34 towards Birmingham, at Scott Arms junction turn right onto Newton Road for approx. 1 1/4 miles then take the right filter lane just past Malt Shovel Public House to Pear Tree Drive.
