The Abba Montparnasse is a new hotel with modern decoration and a warm atmosphere. All our rooms have WI-FI, air conditioning, trousers press, safety boxes, mini-bar, flat screen cable TV, hair dryer and a fully equipped bathroom. The Montparnasse area is well known because of the numerous artists who lived there and the Montparnasse cemetery where people like Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Baudelaire, Georges Sand and Maupassant are buried. This district is bounded by the Jardins du Luxembourg and extends right up to Saint-Germain-des-Près
The Rue de la Gaîté, where the hotel Abba Montparnasse is located, is where many of the Paris theatres are. You can find 7 theatres which put on shows all year round. Recently the Cabaret BOBINO was refurbished and today offers a really good modern show. It has become the place to go to in Paris.
At a few minutes walk from the hotel, shopping enthusiasts can visit the Rue de Rennes or the Galeries Lafayette near the Montparnasse train station.
Don’t forget the Montparnasse Tower; from there you will have the best view of Paris.
