Positive: The closeness to my friends and a short walk to the La Rambla
Negative: My main complaint was the electrical socket came off the board by the bed, showing bare electrical wires. I reported this and took photos, this happened on the second day of my stay whilst I removed a plug socket, but no one had made an effort to make this area in my room safe.
Positive: It was close to the downtown active area.
Negative: The beds and pillows were terrible.
Positive: the room was one of the cheapest and was located close to the bus station and Jefatura de Trafico (it was my reason to come to Almeria). and it was quite close to the city centre. reception is open till 24:00. they changed my room from 1-person room to 2-person rooms immediately when I asked (extra 10 eur).
Negative: the hotel claims it has 2*, but it's actually a very old and unkempt place. the rooms are dirty (there was hair all over the place and pieces of trash from previous visitors. the bed covers were stained, bathroom all covered in mould. we had 2 twin beds put together and they had different mattresses: one with springs coming out, another extremely soft so we both had aching backs after the first night. the walls are very thin and you can hear all the conversations next door. I booked a room that faces inner yard but got one that faces a lively street (sort of a intercity route) and it was very loud all the time so we had to close the windows to be able to sleep. if you're going to Almería for 1 night, I'd recommend this place for the price. otherwise, pay extra 20 eur and stay at another place.
Positive: Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean.
Negative: Bed was not very comfortable. Also an overhead light, even when turned off, emitted a dull light in the room I had. Made it hard to sleep.
Positive: A convenient hotel just outside the center of the city, close to the station and with the airport bus stop located in the adjacent street.
Positive: good location
Negative: electric outlet near the bed didn't work
Positive: Close to railway and bus station.
Positive: Nice staff and great location. Easy walk to cafes and the city center. For the price, we got what we needed!
Negative: Beds were uncomfortable and WiFi was so weak in the room we couldn’t really use it. The room was run down but it served the purpose.
