A few steps from the bustling shopping street in the heart of Medina lies the enchanting hotel Riad Moucharabieh.
Originally built in the 30s' and restored in 1997 and 2005 this hotel gives a sense of tranquility far from the noise of the city.
The hotel is divided in two main areas:
The Delacroix: it hosts 1 suite and 4 rooms decorated in Moroccan traditional style, a central patio with a crystal roof, the reception, dining room, living room, all completely restored. There also is a massage room, jacuzzi and solarium in the terrace.
The Matisse: 4 rooms with air conditioning and fireplace, located in front of the patio, swimming pool and living room.
All alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price.
The hotel hasn't got a restaurant but it offers meals on request. The meals can be taken in any part of the riad; the patio, the terrace or the room.
The building itself, from outside, looks as any other house in la Medina. The entrance is at the end of a narrow street but the riad has a light at the entrance for the comfort of its guest.
The entrance of the Riad drives you to a patio where to wait while the checking is done. There is two patios on the riad and all have a nice decoration
All rooms are different. The riad has two buildings that are together; they are called under the wing Mattise & wing De la Croix and both sides has its own character. The whole riad has a great colonial feeling that transports the traveller to older times. The rooms are medium size and decorated simply but nicely. The bathrooms are extremely nice; the shower system is to be seen.

How to arrive
1 km to the nearest fair site (djema el fna)
Just behind the walls of Bab Doukkala, through one of the most trading busy alleys, a hundred meters after, on Derb LHotel. Even when the main street has a local market, the riad has a really calm atmosphere. Bab Doukkala are fairly close to the square.
