How to arrive
Located on a hillside overlooking Sorrent, this comfortable hotel enjoys wonderful panoramic views out over the Bay of Naples. The city centre as well as links to the public transport network are located within 1 km of the hotel.
Positive: Facilities and location are great. The view is stunning.
Negative: Unfortunately we had an issue with our A/C which was sorted out in the last day of our stay only.
Positive: Grand old-style hotel, with spacious bedroom, huge bathroom, and spectacular views from the balcony, restaurant, and rooftop pool and garden. The staff is very professional and helpful, the breakfast bountiful, and the omelette chef most entertaining!
Negative: As others have mentioned, hotel could use a facelift. Hallways are a bit musty, but this is a minor issue.

Positive: The center is within walking distance. The staff was really kind and helpful. My room had a fantastic and breathtaking view 🏝️. The breakfast was very pleasant and delicious, with a diverse selection of choices.

Positive: The view from our suite was phenomenal! Exactly what an Italian postcard would look like from every vantage point. The restaurants on site served some of our favorite meals, especially the pizza and soup! Loved the ping pong table, pool, outdoor lounge areas and bars; so many places on the property to explore and enjoy. Hot tub and outdoor living area off the suite was perfect.
Negative: NOTHING
Positive: The view was great, very picturesque. Breakfasts were good and the room very clean and extremely quiet. Going from the front reception to the room was a bit rambling but in its way this is also a special characteristic of the hotel.

The staff was very accommodating and both the front desk and the restaurant employees went out of their way to take great care of us The included breakfast every morning was exceptional. Our room was very clean and had amazing views of Vesuvius and panoramic views of the sea and the city below This hotel was a delight and a lovely place to enjoy the beautiful city of Sorrento.
Positive: Our rooms had the most incredible views from our private balcony, absolutely breathtaking. The hotel was clean, filled with art and the staff was professional and accommodating, the restaurant food was great and every morning they served us with a delicious breakfast over-looking the most amazing views. Our floor also had an incredible olympic sized swimming pool and gorgeous lounge areas throughout the hotel. I highly recommend Hotel Bristol.

Positive: Superb! The property is clean and perfectly located. The view from our room was AMAZING. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast offered daily.

Positive: Nicely appointed Junior suite with plenty of space and light. The view of Vesuvius and Sorrento from our balcony, the restaurant (And yes, there is technically only one restaurant) outdoor pool and lounge was breathtaking. Breakfast was a buffet of a wide variety of healthy and sweet pastries, Coffees, And omelettes or fried eggs on order. Most of it was delicious. The dinner cuisine was not the best I’ve ever had and the buffet salad comes up really short for an Italian salad. However, their eggplant parmesan was the best I’ve ever had. The hotel is located just up a hill on the edge of town, and the bus stop is just out the door, so it’s away from the maddening crowd, but with convenient transportation. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, Providing us all sorts of useful information. The only recommendation of the staff that I would not agree with would be to take the boat they arrange to Positano and Amalfi for €60. It was uncomfortable and loud. Check into the ferry and bus options first.

Positive: Fantastic hotel. What made it most special for me was the staff and I mean ALL the staff. Francisco greeted us as our car pulled up. He was gracious and most genuine. Grace helped us with our day and night trip to Capri. The view from our room was gorgeous. And the pool and grounds are stunning. Very relaxing and the picturesque Italian movie experience. I don’t generally return to the same place twice but this hotel will be a must again. The walk into Sorrento was about 20 minutes give or take 5 and yes there is a bit of an incline on the way back and a narrow sidewalk. It was not an issue at all for us however people with mobility issues may not enjoy this. Thank you Hotel Bristol, and see you again.

Negative: We felt as though the hotel itself was quite rundown with its essentials a nod very stale and if I am being completely honest, after being recommended by friends to stay at the hotel we felt as though for the amount we paid the service and value for money didn’t quite hit the mark! Overall talking with other guests staying also, they were of the same opinion. No food to offer from around the pool area, drinks only.
Positive: Everything was great including staff and facility. Emiliana at the bar was always super friendly especially.
Negative: The sign that says it’s forbidden to use the refrigerator for personal items. That’s ridiculous. If someone pays lots of money to stay in a nice hotel they should be able to use what’s in there as they wish, including the refrigerator.
