There are many events in the town and local area throughout the year including yacht races in May, The Traditional Boat festival with Viking Long Boat, The Seafood Festival in July and The Music Festival in September

Tarbert is easily accessed by road on the A83 including daily buses to and from Glasgow Inveraray is an hour away by car and Oban to the North of Tarbert is 1 and a quarter hours journey, with Campbeltown to the South, a 45 minutes drive away Nearest airport is Glasgow Airport 100 miles from Dunivaig

The King Room with Sofa-bed has a compact shower en-suite room, a king size 150 cm wide bed and a single sofa-bed, when needed as a twin room This room has wonderful sea views overlooking Loch Fyne on the Kintyre peninsula, free WiFi, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer Please be aware that when both beds are in use there is not much space in the room Please see the photos of this room
