Positive: We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—close to everything we needed, and perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While there’s no elevator, we were informed ahead of time and appreciated the clear communication. Part of the hotel was under construction, but it didn’t affect our experience. Overall, a great value and welcoming atmosphere—we would gladly stay here again.
Positive: The room was nice.
Negative: The hotel and all its surrounding is under renovation. The noise was unbearable. It should have on site parking, but due to the renovation there was no parking at the hotel.
Positive: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Was able to walk to the downtown core from the hotel.
Negative: The construction, street, and AC was very loud. And there weren’t very many amenities provided with the stay.

Negative: Under renovation, smelly, No dead bolt On door ( maid service actually tried to walk in at 7.30 am. Had a chair in front of door… )

Negative: The noise coming from adjoining room was terrible, you could hear a conversation due to the door between rooms. Unfortunately the building is very dated and is under construction. There is also no elevators in the building. Definitely not worth the money,

Positive: Absolutely nothing.
Negative: I don’t know in what universe this place could get three stars. This is not a hotel. It is a slum, under major construction with health and safety violations everywhere, no elevator, stairs in disrepair, outfitted with salvage furniture, with hospital like beds, reminiscent of an institution in the 1940’s. Do not remove your shoes. Only good thing—the location. The last time I stayed in a hotel this bad was in Moscow, Russia in 2011.

Positive: Just about the only affordable hotel in Vancouver. Great location! Room renovations have really upgraded the experience. Friendly staff.
Negative: Nothing, really. They are still doing Reno’s on another part of the hotel but it didn’t affect me at all. Two minor things: the window didn’t lock properly but it would’ve taken Spider-Man to get in! And the heaters were a bit aggressive - I had to keep turning them down.
Positive: Location is great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable and clean. Budget friendly for down town.
Negative: Under construction so part of the front entrance area blocked off with plastic. But was not loud. We were warned my message just before booking though. Maybe a discount would have been nice because of it. Dated building but clean. House keeping accidentally walked in shortly after we got in our room.
Positive: The washroom closet was not flushing and when asked the receptionist about it he asked us to use outside not even responded properly
