As travellers focus on adventures closer to home, there?s no better way to enjoy a domestic getaway than in an off-road car that's a home on wheels, designed to cater to your every need, including sleeping quarters right overhead

Guests will be welcomed by Land Rover ambassador, Alban Michon at the Hotel du Chateau in the very heart of the Dordogne Valley for two hours of off-road driving in this stunning part of the French countryside

But the adventure doesn?t stop there! The lucky travellers will spend the evening with Alban, who will treat them to a traditional explorer dinner - freeze-dried of course - and share various survival and wilderness camping techniques as well as tales of his incredible adventures

Finally, on Sunday, after a night under the stars in the rooftop tent, travellers will be able to enjoy the natural and historical treasures of the region and the Causses du Quercy Natural Park at their leisure before returning the Defender back to Land Rover

This adventure-filled opportunity will be available to book at 10:00 CET on 24 October, on a first-come-first-served basis, for an overnight stay from 31 October to 1 November The rooftop tent comfortably fits two guests, while the Defender itself can carry up to five (or six) passengers
