The main restaurant is overlooking the Ayung river valley and offers both local and international cuisine.
Constructed in the terraced Balinese Style with thatched roofs. The resort has spectacular views over the surrounding hills and mountains, as it is perched adjacent to steep rice terraces, and overlooks both the winding Ayung river in a gorge below and a temple on the opposite hill.
This 38-room club resort, which opened in 2005, is on eight levels. It is constructed in contemporary Balinese style on gravity defying pillars with thatched alang-alang roof, and cascades down the hillside towards the Ayung River. The distinctive architectural design of the hotel, with the villas perched on steep terraces, reflecting the rice terraces on the other side of the gorge, was at first considered impossible to build. It has a lobby, hotel safe and a restaurant. Room and laundry services are subject to fees. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car.
All the rooms feature handmade cotton batik fabrics and bathroom with hand-moulded baths. Precious woods were used throughout the property, including Merbau flooring for the interiors, Benkirai for the exteriors and wooden furniture with sculpted doors in the Balinese tradition. All rooms have double beds, a safe, satellite television, minibar, individually regulated air conditioning and direct dial telephone. Terraces also feature.
The spa offers a wide range of massage and spa treatments, and the hotel arranges regular yoga and meditation classes. An outdoor swimming pool and solarium also feature. Mountain biking is also offered to guests subject to a fee.
