Renovated in 2003, this single storey hotel comprises 16 double rooms and 7 suites. Facilities include a bar, a TV room and an air-conditioned restaurant and those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities. Room and laundry services round off the facilities on offer.
Beginning in 1923 and for more than 20 years, the main building of this 17th century hacienda was the headquarters of the Carnegie Institution Maya Archaeological Expedition. The garden cottages have been rebuilt and modernised without destroying their rustic charm.

The hacienda is located 75 miles east of Merida at the ruins of Chichen Itza and very close to old Chichen and the Cave of Balancanche, where the Pre-Columbian and Colonial periods merge with the 20th century.
