Positive: Ideal location for an overnight stop close to A34. We did not have dinner - breakfast was a bit basic

Positive: Excellent large room overlooking the trees out front. Welcoming staff who helped carry out bags up the stairs, noticing my injured hand. Pleasant lady in the spacious breakfast room, who was efficient and helpful. Handy position just off the busy A34, great for a stopover.
Negative: I have no dislikes to report.
Positive: Good vey clean room. Good bedding, although duvet slightly narrow for bed size. Breakfast - full English was to our taste and icluded in price.
Negative: The Indian Restaurant aroma in the reception area.

Negative: No complaints really. They were very accommodating. Was missing coffee and milk sachets in the room but they quickly brought those up to me once I mentioned it. No one offered assistance to get my bag up the stairs to the room but they did accommodate a late check in.
Positive: Great room, the shower was fantastic. Modern and clean. Breakfast was great, good locally produced food. Well cooked.
Negative: A little further away than I expected - I asked the receptionist for a taxi - they quoted £66 one way. However we found another for £30….
Positive: I would have preferred to pay for dinner, breakfast & the room at the end of my stay rather than at each meal. My mattress was extremely uncomfortable and the sound proofing wasn't very good. Not a lot of choice at breakfast but the Full English was cooked well. The staff were attentive but not very professional

Negative: Saturday night party downstairs and noisy until after 12.00.
