How to arrive
This attractive apartment hotel is located within the resort of Funchal, just 2.5 km from the old town. Guests wishing to sample local cuisine will find a range of restaurants as well as shops, bars and nightclubs in the surrounding area. Those wanting sand and the seaside will find exactly that, just 500 m from the hotel and for places out of walking distance, public transport links are situated just a short walk away.
Positive: Love the cleanness and beautiful hotel decor and ambiance. Also very spacious that doesn’t feel crowded. Staff very professional and friendly. Comfortable and luxurious at the same time The Tale restaurant was awesome! Food at pool/bar very good.
Negative: The dinner buffet lacks variety, for the price you pay it felt short. And long waits when the dish you want has to be replaced or never replaced.
Positive: This hotel is very clean and well maintained. Our room was above average size. Breakfast was excellent, lots offered. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Then there is the pool deck offering indoor and outdoor pools, snack bar and sun deck with chairs. Views of Funchal from the sun decks was quite nice. This hotel is truly a gem
Negative: You have to pay extra to use the safe in the room. It seemed odd when they bring free fruit and water most days
Positive: Good price-value ratio. Location is quite good, there is a shopping centre and an awesome all-you-can-eat sushi buffet (Island WOK) nearby. I enjoyed the breakfast, large selection of stuff. Got a good nights rest. Didn't actually use any other services. Would stay again.
Negative: Some furniture was a bit worn out. And the water pressure in the shower was weak. They also took their time to refill the shower gel - so it was just easier for me to buy a 1 EUR shower gel from the store.

Positive: The room was spacious and comfy. The staff helpful, especially Cristina who allowed us to check in a bit early after a very early flight. She was great and made our trip even better. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.
Negative: We had to leave for the airport at 7:00 on our last day so didn’t get to have breakfast. Wish it could have started at 6:30. The coffee in the dining room was not good. Would love to see a higher quality of coffee beans on the machines.

Negative: The room was facing the ocean but no ocean view as indicated in the description. I faced the pool which was perfectly fine for me but quite loud - again I liked it because I like hearing happy people but this could be a negative for some
Positive: Loved my stay at this hotel, it’s in the center where you can find many restaurants/shops and the mall is only 5min by walking. The staff were great and the breakfast had a good variety, it’s perfect for its price in Funchal!
Negative: Hard to find parking close by
Positive: Stuff is very friendly. Good everyday cleaning. Variable breakfast. 30 mins walk or 15 mins by bus to the Funchal city center. Veryquite at night.
Negative: Swiming pools close at 8 pm and there is bo eay to stay longer on the roof top. Hotel is located next to the road and from the firstvfloor the view is half road half sea.
Positive: very nice hotel, cozy and nicely equipped, the bathroom had an interesting arrengement, but all good. The breakfast was excellent
Negative: We had to cange keys multiple times, as they were not working. Also the system of storing luggage should be adjusted, as I dont think room with no security everyone can enter, neither getting any confirmation, is sufficient.
