How to arrive
The Silmar Apartments are placed in the centre of Albufeira, 500 m away from the Pescadores beach and 46 km from Faro Airport.
Positive: Location
Negative: Refg.did not work properly
Positive: Very nice facility with daily housekeeping included.
Negative: Difficult to locate on arrival. Keys are at a hotel resort away from the actual apartment so it was somewhat confusing.

Negative: Extremely rude/unresponsive staff. They don’t tell you an address to pick up keys, just the name of the property but there are 3 with the same name. So we had to use our phone data just to call and figure out where to go rather than guess and walk all over town. No guaranteed parking. When we picked up keys (15 min walk away) I said I read there was free parking and he replied there is free parking… but it’s public so good luck finding a spot. It was difficult to find a spot. When we got there the room is really sad… Stains all over the couch/pull out bed so we didn’t go near it, clumps of hair on the ground, so smelly, stained curtains, and bed wasn’t even fully made…. Also, No wifi!!! Lastly the area was really dodgy and you had to pay to use the safe. The screen door lock could be opened very easily and it didn’t feel safe.

Negative: The 2 mattresses in the room first room were not as comfortable as the second bedroom

Negative: Roach 🪳, ants, rude staff at check in, main gate lock very very hard to open as key doesn't work properly, very very old furniture, beds uncomfortable, gave me stiff back!! Will not recommend at all and not worth the money I paid!?

Negative: No Wi-Fi. Also keys have to be collected from hotel nearly. It was well communicated though.
Positive: Location is central with easy access. It is spacious and bright.
Negative: Not the highest cleaning standards. The kitchen doesn’t have a microwave. The parking could get complicated because at night you park outside of the building and it gets full or cars early. you can hear everything from outside and this is like a party town so not the right place if you want to rest.
