From the airport, take the highway (via rápida) in the direction of Funchal. Drive all the way until you reach exit nº 15 CANCELA / GARAJAU, ride up und turn right at the crossing at the end of the exit road, this road leads into a roundabout, leave it at the sign HOTEL, which is in the direction of Funchal, go right in front until see another sign for HOTEL, turn left down the road in the direction of Funchal, go past the entrance of the highway to Funchal, go straight ahead always in the direction of Funchal (it's a secondary road, don't take the highway) After a viewpoint named the Pináculo, it is a bit further the Hotel on the left-hand side of the road.|
