Positive: Spacious room, big bed, onsen can be used privately, delicious breakfast, kind owner
Negative: A bit out of the way if you are not coming by car
Positive: We love it
Negative: The coziness, the atmosphere, the vibes
Positive: We stayed for two nights here. The owner is so friendly and the atmosphere is so good. Breakfast is included and very delicious. Although it’s not that close to the JR Station, there are a lot of restaurants nearby. We will definitely come back.
Positive: Family-like place, good people mostly regulars, great owner. even extended my stay. Common living room is amazing. Thank you so much!
Positive: The free breakfast was fantastic with plenty of offerings. The private co-ed onsens were a great perk. The ski equipment room was very convenient for drying boots and storing helmets.
Negative: The rooms were on the smaller side and the heat took awhile to warm the entire room.
Positive: Taka is amazing and such a cool guy, he arranged alt accommodation for us when his place was booked and dropped us off, shuttled our luggage back and forth, boiled eggs for me, had nice yarns with him. His partner and daughter are also amazing so friendly and welcoming! They invited us to a tea ceremony to celebrate the spring coming which was an awesome experience and added bonus to the snowboarding for which we came! Highly, highly recommended if you're coming to Hakuba!!
Negative: Nothing, this place is amazing - highly recommended!
Positive: It was cute/quaint and had character! Excellent location, shuttle stops for all the mountains were a five min walk or less, as were the ski rental shop and many restaurants. Loved hanging out in the common room. And most of all we LOVED Taka, he was the best. Such an amazing host. Definitely would stay here again if I came back to Hakuba and definitely would recommend to a friend.
Negative: I didn’t realize this property had shared bathrooms when I booked it but it didn’t turn out to be a big deal. Stayed for four nights and only waited for a shower once for about 5 mins.
Positive: Location, walking distance to Echoland eateries, ski rentals and ski shuttle buses
Negative: Nothing
Positive: Private onsen was so nice after skiing! The breakfasts were great and the guidance for restaurants and ski resorts was very helpful. Taka and his wife have created a warm and welcoming environment, I can’t recommend this enough!
Positive: Super nice couple runs the place. They are very helpful. The homemade bread and muffins for breakfast are exceptionally tasty
Negative: They use a kerosine heater to heat the sitting area (which is very nice and cosy). This heater produces a nasty smell and the fumes are very unhealthy and spread through the whole building. It should not be used in a closed indoors area. .
Positive: We had the best stay ever! Very friendly host and kindfull human being! The best breakfast in town and close to Echoland shuttlebus and ski rentals Forever gratefull🤝🏻
Positive: Taka the owner was awesome, and the breakfast, always delicious! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat
Positive: We were thoroughly impressed by the owner's homemade breakfast. For the price, the attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly stood out. Each morning we had different meals made from local and seasonal ingredients. The small dining room was beautiful. The owner is very friendly and seems to have much experience traveling around the world. There are two lovely hot spring baths. Enjoyed the baths so much.
Negative: None.
Positive: At first it was overwhelming to pick a hotel because everywhere seemed good and we didn’t know the area. So we chose Belnina and so, so glad we did. Belnina was a perfect place to stay in Echoland. As others said, Taka was an exceptional host and delivered best advice about where to ski, rent, and eat (try the ramen place- so good!) the location was perfect, 2 min walk to rental company, bus, and delicious restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and inviting, the breakfast was perfect, and we loved the private onsen after a day of skiing. Definitely recommend you stop scrolling and just book this place!
Negative: Everything was wonderful.
Positive: Taka is an amazing host. He goes above and beyond to make your holiday the best it can be. The breakfast is always a treat. Looking forward to our return next time!
Positive: the owner Yutakasan is the best I have so far. he’s very welcoming and assisted us with whatever we need during our stay (from helping us to book for a taxi in the middle of the night, to lend me some of the skiing equipment) & the location is very near to the slope shuttle bus stop, the property is clean, warm, cozy and very homey. the breakfast was execellent! they also have a private onsen in the property. super highly recommended to stay here!
Negative: nothing
Positive: Taka the host of Belnina is the star of the operation, so warm friendly and down to earth makes you feel like you are a friend staying at his home. Location is convenient to restaurants, bars and snow shuttle. I will be back.
Positive: The property had a large lounge that was inviting as additional facility to relax, watch a large library of DVDs and Italian cookbooks. Guests are treated to a choice of two hot springs onsens. Belnina was close to all vicinity of resorts and check out the coffee hut, Satoru about 3min walk away North.
Negative: nothing to say for any dislikes.
