We stayed 2 nights in a garden view room, which we loved. The little pool, lounge areas and restaurant area are all very relaxing places to spend time, and the beach is only a short walk away.
Positive: We loved the inside/outside shower in our garden-view room. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the decor at the hotel (I wish I could have bought some of the clay lanterns they have in the lounge/restaurant areas!!).
Negative: we spoke to a woman at the front desk on our first night, and said we wanted to extend our stay. we weren't sure if we wanted 1 or 2 extra nights, so I told her (several times) we definitely wanted 1 more night, but would confirm about the second extra night in the morning. when we went back to speak with her in the morning they had 'booked out' the room we had, and could only offer us more expensive options. We were very frustrated the room hadn't been reserved for us for 1 more night as we requested. Instead, we had to pay even more for a beachside 'cabaña' and we were given one that was clearly older and more 'rustic' than the others... in our view it was a downgrade rather than upgrade, and not worth the extra expense. We would recommend this place but if you get a cabaña, make sure you don't get stuck with the old one!
