Positive: Amazing location, right at the heart of the main street and just a few steps away from the beach. Comfortable bed and bedsheets. Complementary water/coffee/tea
Negative: No hand soap in the bathroom, shower gel seemed to be diluted with water. Style is a bit old school for my taste and the rate is relatively high
Positive: Great location on the Main Street. Very clean throughout. Good breakfast.
Negative: No aircon. Not a problem generally with the Sylt climate but when it’s warm, the only answer is to throw open the windows letting in all the late night revellers’ noise and the early morning seagull shrieks. Lack of sleep is the penalty.
Positive: I was very satisfied with everything. Very good breakfast, the room was nice, the location excellent. The personal was very pleasant.
Negative: No complaints.
Positive: Clean room, delicious breakfast, perfect location as it is in the center and in walking distance to the beach.
Negative: Make sure to close the window during night because you won't be able to sleep well due to noises from seagull.
Positive: Best value for money compared to all the available hotels that weekend. Great service from friendly and accommodating staff. I was able to check-in at 12 noon. Clean and well-lit rooms. Very comfortable mattress and bedding.
Negative: Limited breakfast choices. The shower didn't drain quickly. The suite is located next to the rooftop terrace which can be accessed by the guests. It was mostly empty when I stayed there but I couldn't leave the curtains open while I slept.
Positive: Very friendly, helpful and competent staff - at breakfast, at the reception, as well as the chambermaid. The breakfast was very good (not as good as prepandemic though) and the choice of time windows was reasonable.
Negative: The mattress was totally worn out. Terrible. The bathroom was tragic - I'm short and relatively athletic but I was still worried that I may hurt myself getting in or out of the shower.
