This attractive city hotel is approximately 400 m from the city centre and numerous shops A public transport stop and a train station are only a few minutes walk away (around 400 m) Restaurants can be found roughly 1 km from the hotel and bars within 2 km Hamburg airport is located around 8 km from the hotel

Negative: Smell of toilet come inside, shwer was not very clean, covers for windows were dirty
Positive: Great location (only 3 mintues walk from main train station) and renovated small yet functional room!
Negative: 10am check out which is a little bit too early compared to normal 11am.

Positive: Location was ideal. Modest and comfortable furnishings. Clean sheets and utilities. Easy online check in and out process.
Negative: The walls were definitely not soundproof! Or anything close to it. And because the small units were so close together, it was impossible NOT to hear the intimate activities of my hotel neighbors.

Positive: Very convenient location a stone‘s throw away at the North from the main railway station. Very basic rooms with generally run-down fittings and somewhat improvised reception desk. Run by an immigrant family from China. The management and staff are friendly and helpful! Noisy neighborhood, yet close to walk to restaurants on Lange Reihe (road) and to the Alster (lake)
Negative: Outdated building and infrastructure. Elevator dates back to 1963. All renovations seem to be done on D.I.Y. basis. Hygiene and cleanliness is somewhat questionable 🤨

Negative: The wifi didn’t work. Got signal but couldn’t get it to connect. Not sure why…..was supposed to connect without password……suspect the should use the password method to customers.
Positive: Location is greay! Close to everything, specially train / subway station. I was scared when I saw the reviews but honestly this was the cheaper hotel I found for my budget and I was not dissapointed. Staff was great , cleaning and I paid for having a private bathroom!
