The materials used in the hotel’s architecture and interior design pay homage to the Caribbean ecosystem: the walls, covered in coral stone, add a natural beauty to its interior spaces; the furniture is made of fine woods from the region, giving the hotel a comfortable and natural ambience; handicrafts made with natural fibers are used as decorations in all the hotel’s indoor areas
Wild cane, a natural fiber typical of the Colombian Caribbean region and which is used to make the traditional “vueltiao” hat, is the main element used in the hotel’s interior design
The walls, furniture and some of the decorations are made from this fiber, making the Hotel Movich Cartagena a unique and exquisite place

Taxes are not included and must be paid directly at the hotel for foreigners, Non-resident Colombians, and bookings that are not prepaid
In accordance with Colombian laws the only exemptions apply to Tourists with Entry and Stay Permits with PIP-3, PIP-5, PIP-6 or PIP-10 stamps, or the TP-7, TP-11 or TP-12 temporary visa
The rates in Colombian pesos include federal sales tax for Colombian guests
Colombians who pay at the destination and foreigners whose purpose of travel is not for rest or recreation must pay federal sales tax at the hotel at check-out
The rates do not include hotel insurance, which must be paid per person, per night directly at the hotel
Please note that when a reservation has been made for a room with breakfast, childrens breakfasts are not included

The rate does not include the 19% VAT tax on accommodation, hotel insurance or other additional charges that the Hotel may charge; They must be paid directly at the Hotel. Foreigners not resident in the country who acquire a tourist package, checking their immigration status with the current PIP5 Entry and Permanence Permit seal, with the current PTP-5 Temporary Permit Permit seal, or the current TP-11 visa; they will be exempt from the 19% VAT tax.
