The hotel entrance is big with the lobby spilling over towards the restaurant and pool and bar area. The reception is on the right and behind this is a lounge with book cases and comfortable leather chairs.
This is an excellent hotel and the perfect place to explore Knysna and the Garden Route from. It is child friendly with plenty of garden space and a very beautiful outdoor pool with a shallow end for kids. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and meals and drinks can be ordered pool side. The hotel also has conference facilities. The Moorings offer facilities such as laundry, room service, Internet access, business centre services and 24 hour reception.
From Plettenberg Bay, turn left into George Rex Drive and follow the road that goes down to the Knysna Heads. Follow the east side of the lagoon for 1.4 km, and the hotel is on the right-hand side of the road. From George, stay on the N2 through town on Main Street. Pass the police station on the right, pass the hospital on the left and keep going until reaching the Kwik Spar on the right. Go past the traffic lights and turn right into George Rex Drive.
