Positive: Beautiful hotel and convenient location to Cambridge Station. The AC did not cool the room down enough for comfortable sleep, but this is a common issue in European hotels. They did have a fan in the room that I had chosen not to run. I would stay here again.

Negative: Not a complaint just points that can improve. Winter is over, but the heater was on the 3 nights. Not everyone feels cold all the time. Despite my request to turn it off, nothing has changed. Breakfast could be improved by offering more variety and providing takeaway cups for coffee.

Negative: Just 2 tea bags and 2 milk portions in our room which we used on arrival, we requested replacements for tea in the morning which were promised but they did not turn up we had to go downstairs and collect some ourselves. There was no hot water out of the basin tap in the evening. There was white toothpaste down the side of the basin which obviously hadn’t been cleaned off - our toothpaste is blue so it definitely wasn’t ours!

Positive: Everything was perfect. Breakfast was great, I only ate once but had the poached eggs salmon and hollandaise. It was excellent. Had the fish and chips for dinner which was good too.
Negative: However, I did order the risotto for dinner on another evening and found that the price did not reflect the portion size. It was more like a starter than a whole meal. The Chef was a very mean on the portion size it was literally a table spoon spread flat across the plate. I went to my room and ate a sandwich!
Positive: It's a nice hotel. The lift was appreciated. The roo. was good-sized (for European standards), clean and comfortable. However, there was a buth tub with a shower... that didn't have either a bathroom courtain nor a glass partition, so showering or washing your hair was a challenge
