The Hotel Schweriner Hof is a hotel in Stralsund, on the German Baltic Sea, centrally located directly at the New Market Square, opposite the Marien Church. Housed in a building full of history, built after the big fire in 1680, for many years the corner house was used as a distillery and guesthouse. Today the Schweriner Hof is an excellent hotel, that welcomes a widely ranged clientele of international tourists and businessmen. Stralsund is not only a popular tourist destination for a beach vacation, but also a good choice for passionate sightseers or history fans, as it has a wonderful medieval centre with plenty of restored and colourful gabled houses and amazing brick-lined churches, all listed as a UNESCO world heritage site together with the old Town of Wismar. Please note: that check-in is guaranteed from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the arrival day. Guests planning to arrive later are required to contact the property after booking using the information contained in the confirmation email received. The reception is staffed 24 hours a day. During the Winter the reception is open only until 10 p.m.
