Updating availability and prices
There is no restaurant on site. Next door to the property there is an excellent cafe that is open for breakfast and lunch, and there is another restaurant which is open for dinner.
The property is a modern two storey building. Predominantly glass and concrete.
This is an excellent place to stay while in Kaikoura. Centrally located to the town centre and also to the many activities on offer, for example; whale watching , swimming with dolphins, wine tours and Maori cultural tours. Good budget option. SE0908
The standard units consist of a Queen bed and a single bed. Bathrooms are shower only. There is a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. These rooms are not facing the ocean. They are medium in size and comfortable.
How to arrive
194 kms to the nearest airport (christchurch international airport)
Directly opposite the Pacific Ocean and within one kilometre to the centre of Kaikoura town. Kaikoura is approximately two and a half hours drive north of Christchurch. Travelling from the North, Kaikoura is approximately two and a half hours drive from Picton. There is also a daily train service- TranzCoastal- to Kaikoura from either Christchurch or Picton.
