Guests have a choice of 44 apartments in all, comprising studio, 1 or 2-bedroom accommodation and are housed in a new, sleek and modern, dark brick and timbered building. All apartments are accessed through a large reception and CCTV-monitored entry phone system. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby with a 24-hour check-out service. There is a lift to all floors and free car parking for guests.
The reception is manned from 7.30 am to 2.30 pm and again from 5 pm - 7 pm Monday to Friday with no cover over the weekends. A self check-in system operates outside of these hours. Prior to arrival it is vital that guests call reception on 0118 902 8700 in advance or email: enquiries@number-18.co.uk for their important access codes and the instructions needed to check in. Without this information they may not be able to access the building or enter their apartment.
These serviced apartments have plenty of light, and are very spacious, chic and contemporary in style. The state-of-the-art accommodation comes with a private bathroom with a power shower, a bathtub and a hairdryer and offers a queen-size bed. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio and free WLAN broadband Internet access. They have a showroom-style kitchen with a fridge, a cooker, a microwave and a washing machine. Furthermore, an ironing set and individually regulated heating are provided in all accommodation as standard and there is a weekly linen change service.

This apartment hotel is located in Crown Street in the heart of the town, close to the River Kennet. There are links to the public transport network 100 m away and guests will find restaurants, nightspots, shops, bars and the historical Forbury Gardens a 5-minute walk from the establishment. It lies a 10-minute walk from the train station and Oracle centre and is a great location for weekend breaks or business guests wanting to be close to the town centre offices. Heathrow Airport is 43 km away.
Guests arriving by car from Heathrow Airport departures should exit the airport and, at the roundabout, take the first exit onto Bolton's Lane. Turn right onto Bath Road A4 and continue onto the A4. Turn right onto London Road A4 and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the slip road to the M4 at Junction 5. Continue onto the M4 and bear left onto the slip road on the M4 at Junction 10. Bear right and continue onto the A329 (M). Exit onto the A329 (M), and at the roundabout, take the first exit onto London Road A4, continuing onto the A4.
