The tiny village of Carabias hides somewhere over the endless cultivated plain that separates Atienza from Sigüenza. Just there, surrounded by the silence and stones of which time has taken possession, Cardadomo is located, to recreate the warm and peaceful environment sought for by the traveller. The hotel interweaves textures and lights from the silent countryside with an atmosphere of interiors where music, delicate silk and velvet textiles are the main characters.
Outside we find singular spaces, such as the romantic little square, the charming garden in the shade of a leafy fig tree, as well as the unmistakeable country flavour of an old place from where one can gaze at the immense arable plain trodden by Don Quixote four centuries ago. Cardamomo combines stone, time, colours, touch, spaces, retreat and adventure. One setting that is also open to companies searching for a place where they can think and create. For the former and for the latter, Cardamomo represents what Marco Polo said about real or imaginary places: “a spot promised, but not yet discovered”

How to arrive
From Madrid : Journey time: 1h .15 min. Take the A-2 Highway direction Guadalajara-Zaragoza.
At kilometre 104, take the right turning for Sigüenza (19 km away). Once in Sigüenza, keep straight ahead for 500 metres and follow the signs to the Train Station (Estación). Take a turn to the left when you see the signs for Atienza. Drive along this street until you can turn to the right of the station (100 metres ahead) and go across the railway track. Drive on along road CM-110 and after 7 kilometres, turn left for Palazuelos-Carabias (3 kilometres ahead). Before entering Palazuelos, follow the signs for Carabias (on your right-hand side); this village is 1.5 km ahead. As you enter the village (leaving the porch church on your right hand-side), keep straight up a short hill, then go downhill (following the signs for the Cardamomo Hotel): you will finally come out to a little square with a tree in the middle. The hotel is located ahead, in the narrow street that continues the one you have just gone down.
