Suffolk Hotel Description

Dining is available in the Genevieve Restaurant which enviably overlooks the golf course and offers traditional cuisine which a modern twist. Alternatively, the Bar is the ideal spot to enjoy a refreshing drink and a less formal meal

The Suffolk Inn was originally called the Greyhound and was the Inn belonging to the famous fourteenth century Abbey of St. Edmund. The building you see is the result of a careful reconstruction process which has intelligently blended the fabric of the ancient with the new building.

The hotel has first rate facilities including an 18-hole Championship golf course, a leisure club with swimming pool, sauna, steam room and spa. Away from the hotel, guests can enjoy the surrounding countryside, the sights of historic Cambridge, the nearby Ely Cathedral and it really is an ideal base to explore East Anglia. (GW 09/2008)
