Lumbung restaurant occupies an open-sided traditionally thatched pavilion with breathtakingly beautiful views across a reflection pool fringed with palms to the ocean horizon. A variety of Asian and Continental fine cuisine is offered here.

There are 50 villas and pavilions at The Oberoi, with spacious bedrooms and out-of-this-world marble sunken garden baths. All guest accommodation is in thatch-roofed buildings of local materials, all at ground level and all air-conditioned. Private garden walls of pink-tinged local limestone ensure total privacy. Every villa has a separate bedroom, bathroom, courtyard with rock pond, raised dining pavilion and terrace with either garden or ocean views. All guest villas and pavilions feature the usual 21st century accoutrements; satellite television, CD player, safe, minibar, direct dialling and broadband Internet Access.
