Kedar has two good restaurants as well as the outdoor Boma dining area which can accommodate as many as 300 people. There is also the Metswedi Bar, which means drinnking giraffe. One of the restaurants specialises in South African and Afrikaans cuisine and there is also a menu with international dishes. There is a very extensive wine menu.
Lodge style accommodation spread out over several acres of land. Each building is descreatly hidden away with the many trees in the grounds.
Some years ago the hotel purchased a portion of Boekenhoutfontein, the historic farm of President Paul Kruger, and over the years it has consolidated an area of some 283 hectares, which has been game fenced. In 2006, it underwent a major upgrade, and now the hotel offers 62 elegantly furnished rooms, 7 fully equipped conference rooms and the Metswedi bar where guests may have a drink while watching the sunset over the natural bush. The air-conditioned establishment also comprises a lobby with 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe, cloakroom, children's playground, a pub and restaurant. Guests may make use of the WLAN Internet access, laundry service, car park and bicycle hire service.
Reception is manned 18 hours per day, yet check-in is available 24 hours a day.
All the hotel rooms are decorated with vibrant, hand painted ethnic print fabrics and African artwork, a true reflection of the treasures of Africa. All rooms have a radio, satellite/cable TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with shower, bath and hairdryer. A double or king-size bed, Internet access, safe, minibar, fridge, washing machine and ironing set come in all accommodation as standard. The air conditioning and heating are individually regulated. Each room has a terrace.
Hotel leisure facilities include a large outdoor swimming pool, an African spa, game tours and a curio shop. Sun loungers and parasols have been laid out on the sun terrace for use. Guests may also make use of the hot tub, sauna, steam room and massage service. The Sun City golf course is roughly 20 minutes' drive away.

200 kms to the nearest airport (or tambo international airport)
The hotel is located just 5 km away from the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace, one of the stadiums that will be hosting the 2010 Football World Cup, half an hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, and only 15 minutes from Sun City and the Pilanesberg Game Reserve - home of the 'Big Five'.
