The Parador, situated on the banks of the Guadalete river, boasts an impressive view over the fertile plains surrounding the river, as well as the Arcos de la Frontera old town.
It is an ideal starting point to embark on the wine tasting route and the Pueblos Blancos (white villages) route. Jerez de la Frontera and the fighting bull livestock farms are quite interesting too.
The hotel provides some magnificent views of Arcos and has a traditional Andalusian courtyard along with other decorative features, such as grilles and "azulejos" (blue and white ceramics).
Wooden beams, rugs and archways also decorates the Parador.
The restaurant offers a welcoming ambience and traditional dishes from the Sierra; the "corvina a la roteña" (sea bass in a red pepper sauce), bull’s tail and a 12 course tasting menu.
The pleasing rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet connection, minibar/fridge, safe and central heating. Eight of the rooms have a balcony offering fabulous views of Arcos.
