How to arrive
The ideal oceanfront location, allows easy and fast access to the historical area and the towns's touristic and comercial spots Just a few minuts away, Furnas with its lake, famous gardens, termal waters and vulcanic hot springs can be found.Also very close by is the Furnas golf course and many other points of interest.
Positive: Jaccuzzi, and friendly staff.
Negative: The fridge was not cold on arrival. Our drinks were finally cold the next morning.
Positive: Breakfast was very good. Lot to choose from and all was fresh and plentiful. The room was very nice and looked out over the marina. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and a bit rainy at times, but it was a nice view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and towels and bedding was very good.
Negative: The person on the front desk was unable to tell us when church services were in the area. That's seems to be a common question people would ask. Also, we received instruction on towel usage at the pool and hot tub and signed a form stating we would NOT use room towels for that area. When we went down and requested towels for the hot tub, we were told there weren't any available. ???? It was not a sunny, hot day so where did they go?
Positive: In a great location with lots of easy to access parking. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The pool was a nice feature but there are also two beaches walking distance from the hotel. Some great restaurants and a nice grocery market also within walking distance!
Negative: The mattresses are a bit firm, but can still get a good sleep.

Positive: The room was quiet and had a beautiful view right on the water. Breakfast was a nice variety and the hotel was within walking distance of the town center, including the grocery store. We were able to easily see the sites in the area. The waiters at both Bellisimo and A Requiem went above and beyond to provide great service.
Negative: The beds weren’t super comfortable but they were fine. Staff was nice but not overly helpful or friendly compared to other places we stayed.

Positive: Lovely rooms, traditional modern in style, had a fridge, air con and were cleaned daily. the pool and spa in the middle of the resort is lovely, no view though. the breakfast selection and staff were great.
Negative: there is not much going on, the bar doesn’t open till 5pm and the atmosphere is terrible. Some lighting, comfier seating areas and maybe live music would much improve.
