All the apartment windows afford unique, fascinating vistas: some overlook the luxuriant Umbrian valley and the cathedral bell tower, while others face the Rocca Maggiore and Minore - Assisi's fortresses - and still others open onto the flourishing garden, with its ancient stone walls and hushed internal alleys
