Updating availability and prices
Steeped in tradition, this original resort and casino is an impressive turn-of-the-century stone building. The resort is the only project in Canada where a First Nation decided to turn an icon of an often sad period of its history into a powerful economic engine by converting an old Indian residential school into an international resort destination. It offers 125 rooms, including 49 single rooms, 73 double/twin rooms, 1 junior suite and 2 suites. Air conditioning, a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out, a hotel safe, lift access, a pub and a number of restaurants are provided. 372 m² of meeting space and the 1767 m² Casino of the Rockies also feature. Room service is available for a fee, and free unlimited parking is available to guests arriving by car. A complimentary airport shuttle service is provided. There is also a shuttle service offering frequent daily trips from the Casino of the Rockies to Cranbrook (complimentary).
On-site food and beverage choices include informal fine dining in the Purcell Grill, overlooking the sun-drenched deck and golf course. Individuals looking for a more relaxed setting can unwind with tapas in the Fisher Peak Lounge or enjoy the 19th Hole Bar & Grill or Fred's Saloon. Seasonal menus, such as the famous Asian Feast and aboriginal cuisine, are offered at certain times of the year.
The reservations desk is open 24 hours a day. Check-in is from 4 pm, while check-out is by 11 am.
