The Restaurant is modern in style with a wide choice of menus to choose from. It also offers a pre-theatre 'Early Bird' menu that enables guests to enjoy an early dinner before taking a short stroll to the theatre. For those with less of an appetite, light snacks are served throughout the day in the bar.
A red brick building with steps leading down to the reception. During fine weather, tables and chairs are put outside and this provides a lovely view overlooking the canal where you can enjoy your food and drinks. The Bridgewater Canal basin is directly outside the hotel and the terrace is a fascinating place from which to observe the activity of all the colourful narrow boats cruising by.
The leisure facilities are among the most extensive in the North West and include an 18m pool, sauna, steam room, cardio and weights rooms plus indoor running track and sports hall. How to arrive
2 minute walk to the nearest metro station (g mex)
Located in the historical area of the town, opposite the Museum of Science and Industry, this city hotel is a five-minute walk from Manchester city centre, with its restaurants, bars and nightlife, and the Bridgewater Hall. It is also just a 15-minute walk from the Manchester Evening News Arena, theatres and shopping areas. Old Trafford is a 20-minute walk, while Piccadilly train station and Shudehill bus station are both a 15-minute drive. Manchester-Ringway International airport is approximately 16 km from the hotel and Liverpool John Lennon airport is around 21 km away.
Depart, bear left onto Terminal Road North and bear left onto Outwood Lane. Continue onto the slip road of the M56 (Junction 5), and continue onto the A5103. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Mancunian Way, and continue onto Egerton Street A57. Turn right onto Water Street A6143, and right again onto Liverpool Road A6143. Turn right onto Potato Wharf and arrive at the establishment.
