The hotel receives guests in a typically Zambian hospitable style. Wilson and associates have created a bright and fun environment for family and business travellers. The hotel features ethnic wall stencils, Zambian artwork as well as timber and plaster ceilings. It first opened in 2001 and comprises a total of 212 rooms including 4 suites. The hotel was built using clay and is additionally decorated with bright mosaics and fabrics. Various facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange counter, a cloakroom and a lift. Furthermore, a bar, a café, a conference room, an Internet connection, shops, a hairdressing salon, a bicycle hire service and a restaurant with highchairs for children are also at guests' disposal. Younger guests may let off some steam in the playground or in the kids' club. Finally, there are laundry and medical services to round up the hotel's offerings and a car park is also available to those arriving by car.

How to arrive
18 kms to the nearest airport (livingstone)
This hotel is located on the green banks of the Zambezi River, close to Livingstone. The fabulous Victoria Falls are only a few minutes walk away. The locals refer to the waterfalls as Mosi-Oa-Tunya, ""the smoke that thunders"". The sparkling waters of the mighty waterfalls and the hundred metre-tall rainbows are still to be seen in the distance. Livingstone airport is about 14 km away.
