Overlooking a great expanse of shimmering water broken only by islands sparsely dotted on the lake, this resort offers a wide variety of excitement. The water park is the main attraction while the only conservational orangutan island in Peninsular Malaysia lies nearby as does the unique Eco Park with its educational walk-in enclosures. Burkit Merah is situated near the Bukit Merah Interchange along the North-South Expressway, a 35-minute scenic drive South from the Penang Bridge, a 45-minute journey from Ipoh and a 3-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur.
