This is a new style in property for Wanaka. The main feature is its 7 outdoor pools, which include two heated swimming pools and five spa pools. In addition there is an on site spa. The resort is designed to satisfy all the rejuvenating requirements of guests who may have been up on the nearby ski slopes or in summer taking advantage of all the outdoor activities from hiking or fishing to mountain biking in the nearby mountain tracks and rivers. The restaurant serves modern New Zealand cuisine with a twist, the signature dishes include the table BBQ, Fondue, and the Oak steak. There is seating for 100 persons inside and 50 outside. In winter up to three open fires keep the place warm and provide a very nice ambience in the restaurant.
A resort style complex of buildings. There are no buildings over two storeys in height, because of this there are no elevators.
The hotel provides different types of accommodation including 1-bedroom apartments with separate bedroom (king-size or twin beds), en suite bathroom, living area with sofa bed, fully-equipped kitchen, Sky TV and a balcony or patio. The 2-bedroom apartments come with 2 upstairs bedrooms (king-size or twin beds), with balconies and en suite bathrooms and a downstairs living area with an optional queen-size bed, full kitchen facilities, a patio, a laundry, a 3rd bathroom and Sky TV. The studio rooms have a queen-size bed in the living area, an en suite bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, a laundry, Sky TV and a patio. The deluxe resort room has a king-size or twin beds with an optional pull-out couch, a spa bath, a small fridge, Sky TV and a patio. 10 kms to the nearest airport (wanaka airport)
Located a few kilometres from the lake edge and the town centre. Wanaka is approximately a two hour drive from Queenstown town centre and the airport. Wanaka is a seven hour drive from Christchurch. There is a small domestic airport located on the outskirts of the town.
