IMPORTANT NOTE - Hotel's Hall, Reception and Restaurant have been recently restored, as well as may of its rooms. Procedures have been started to upgrade Hotel's category. Albergo Duomo is an ancient palace dating back to the 18th century, located in the beautiful village of San Gemini, well known for its springs of mineral water.The Mansion has been built by the noble family of the Santacroce (?Holy Cross?) who chose in the 18th century San Gemini as their Summer Residence for its short distance from Rome, the beauty of the landscapes and for the authentic environment and people. The Santacroce bought the entire village and tore down part of the city walls to built their Palace (the actual name of the hotel refers to the adjacent Cathedral of San Gemini).

Breakfast is served in the form of a continental buffet. Lunch and dinner may be selected from a buffet, chosen from a set menu or ordered à la carte.
Each room comes with en en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, a hairdryer, a television, Internet access and a minibar. In addition to this there is individually adjustable air conditioning in every room.
There is an outdoor swimming pool on the hotel grounds. Alternatively guests can treat themselves to a soothing massage, play tennis or go canoeing close by.

San Gemini is a typical Umbrian village, dating back to the middle ages. Located halfway along the road between Rome and Perugia, San Gemini is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday and for a visit to central Italy. The town is famous for its mineral water spring and for the green, hilly landscape that surrounds it.
From Florence: Take the A1 motorway towards Rome and take the exit for Valdichiana-Perugia-Bettolle. Then take the E45 towards Perugia. Continue, following signs for Terni. Turn off at the San Gemini Nord Exit to reach the hotel. From Rome: Take the A1 motorway towards Florence, exit at Orte and take the E45 towards Terni. Continue, following signs for Perugia. Turn off at the San Gemini Nord Exit to reach the hotel.
