Opened in May 2015, this environmentally sustainable guesthouse is located in the modern, eco-friendly Hunziker-Areal in the northern part of Zurich, a 5-minute walk from the fairgrounds and the indoor stadium
Each room at the Gästehaus Hunziker features a tablet PC for free use, free WiFi access, wooden floors, and a private bathroom
Rainwater is collected and used for flushing the toilets
Heat pumps use waste heat from a nearby data processing centre for heating and warm water
The solar panels on the roof cover around 40% of the guesthouse?s electricity use
Energy-efficient LED lighting is used as well
Linen and towels are changed every third day
At an additional cost, they can be changed daily
Please note that the rooms have no TV
