There are six main restaurants, seven informal cafés and pool bars, six lounges and bars and a nightclub in the resort, offering dining options ranging from traditional Middle Eastern specialities to Latin American steaks, pizzas and snacks.
The resort comprises three hotels and has three private beaches on site. The resort's guests can enjoy pampering body and massage therapies at the Chi Spa, a self-contained village with 12 treatment villas. All its rooms have contemporary decor with traditional Omani design features and artworks. The air-conditioned complex comprises 680 rooms, cafés, bars, restaurants, a lobby and 24-hour reception. For younger guests a kids' club is provided. Internet access, conference facilities and room and laundry services are available. A car park is also available to guests with vehicles.
Guestrooms extend onto balconies or patios with pool or sea views, and include complimentary bottled water, satellite television, a minibar, and bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers, bathrobes and slippers. A direct dial telephone, ironing set and tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
The resort has a gym with sea views, four tennis courts and three outdoor pools, two of which are connected by a lazy river and there is a poolside snack bar. The pool at Al Husn is exclusively for the resort's guests. There is a marina and a dive centre, which offers snorkelling, dive courses and sailing. The kids' club is based in Al Waha Hotel and offers play areas, children's pools, shows and activities. There is also a teens' club. A gym and spa treatments are also available.

The resort is located in Muscat, in the Sultanate of Oman, 5 km from Muscat's old city. It is set in a 124-acre site along the Arabian Peninsula and bordered by the Gulf of Oman. Bat al Zubair is around 5 km away, Muttrah Souk and the Fish Souk are approximately 9 km away and the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is approximately 35 km from the hotel. Muscat International Airport can be reached in approximately 28 km.
