Positive: A charming, traditional family-run hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. I was doing the Berliner Höhenweg and they kindly stored my bag a week before my check-in — a huge help! Excellent breakfast, beautiful mountain views, and a warm Tyrolean atmosphere. A wonderful place to return to after the Berliner Höhenweg, or a day of hiking and exploring Mayrhofen. Highly recommended.
Positive: Location
Negative: Breakfast
Positive: I liked the rest I’m with balcony, the restaurant and outdoor bar/patio was very nice.
Negative: I’m American so used to air conditioning. Our room was a little hot.
Positive: Location, cleanliness, hospitality
Negative: Nothing
Positive: Park your car or get off the motorad and enjoy walking in this beautiful area close to all you need. The gondola takes you half way to the top of the world. After a delicious breakfast you will be ready to hike to to remaining top for a scenic view that is worth the effort. Say hello to Ziggy at the Hutte and get ready for a wonderful lunch, or push through 2 hrs. more to the summit. This hotel welcomes all us international travelers and our host and owner could not be kinder and more attentive to everyone’s needs. He knows all the hikes for every level from families with children, enthusiasts, and seniors with all skill levels. Cocktails while watching the stars glitter with some kind souls from Britain made for a few enjoyable nights after our hikes and meals. This property has been in the family generationally from farmers to hospitality stewards to those who travel the twisty roads. Beds were awesome with a wonderful view to wake up to.
Negative: The hotel is awesome and inviting. I regret not having more nights. There was nothing I didn’t like here. (No bathroom picture to share, but it was quite nice and roomy with large shower.)
