Positive: Amazing value when considering the wonderful full breakfast (that would rival any fancy hotel) that’s included free of charge, the clean rooms, and the location minutes from the train station. Our room was quiet despite the hotel being located on a busy roundabout. I liked the high ceilings and the third bed (a cot) was comfortable for my child.
Negative: The property is dated but it didn’t bother us it was clean. New carpet and a scrubbing of the mildew that’s really high up on the shower walls would go a long way.
Positive: It was nice that a continental breakfast was included however, it was very limited. Coffee or Tea and some bread and pastries.
Negative: Lots of stairs. Even the reception desk was up a flight of stairs. There was an elevator but it was EXTREMELY small. It was a struggle to get two people with one suitcase each into the elevator. What was worse was that people would hold the elevator and it would never seem to arrive when you called it.
Positive: I liked just about everything!! The location was awesome; easy walk from the train station and to all the Christmas markets and sights. The employees were VERY friendly and helpful! Got some great advice on using the train to Luxembourg! I had asked for a room not facing the street and they made it happen! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable! Slept like a baby! The breakfast was very nice also! As always, love the coffee machines in Europe! :) Highly recommend the Hôtel Le Mondon Metz!!

Positive: The location was excellent. We had a short walk from the train station at night. Very safe clean neighborhood. Lots of good restaurants nearby.. Very friendly folks all over .

Positive: We spent one night in this charming hotel, a walkable distance from the train station and the center city. Our windows overlooked a pretty fountain and park. The staff was unerringly cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was bountiful, and the setting was clean and bright.

Positive: Breakfast offered a variety and was free. I filled up both mornings to start my day. Location is in walking distance to everything you want to see for sight seeing and/or taking the train. There are several parking garages a few blocks away that are arouind 16 euros for 24 hours.
Negative: No parking. Room was very small. I had to move a large piece of furniture to plug in my fridge. The key chain is very lage and heavy. The staff were not sociable with others.
Positive: The room was large and comfortable for the price. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed it.
