By car, leave the M6 at Junction 43 and follow the A6 right into the centre of the city. Follow the signs for Carlisle (which is the main approach from the east). After a short distance, the first set of traffic lights (Tesco on the right, Rover garage on the left) will come into sight. Go straight on through these lights then straight on again through the next 4 sets of lights. Take the first left onto Cecil Street, followed by the first right onto Mary Street.
All rooms are simply decorated with carpets, wooden furniture and floral bedspreads. Each room has windows that open, and front-facing rooms offer a view of the splendid Twin Towers of Henry VIII's historic Citadel.
