Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at this sweet hotel. I have seen other reviews say it was a sketchy neighborhood, but I would like to clarify that it is just a working class neighborhood, not a tourist neighborhood. I felt very safe walking around. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. And easy to catch a taxi to anywhere you need to go. 100 pesos to the airport or old town.

Positive: Hotel stay was really good. Quality pool and people. Location according to me is the best thing with this hotel as it is placed exactly in the middle between the airport and centro/zona romantica where there is less crowded and you can travel either ways in cab or bus in 15 minutes.
Negative: The size of the bathroom was very compact but overall the hotel room and gallery gave a homely vibe.

Positive: Hotel is well located, and found it well maintained. There are plenty of options around for restaurants. They offer coffee and one piece of bread complementary.
Negative: Beds are not very comfortable; found some small garbage at the bottom of the pool; and front desk staff very unhelpful and even rude tring to charge for staying away from noisy rooms and charging children breakfast as adults for children over 9, even though their own website says over 13 year olds. They don't have enough pool towels. They restrict use of speakers in the pool area and if someone is using it don't ask to stop it.

Positive: Very budget. Room was in desperate need of updating/renovation (bathroom sink falling off the wall, door to bathroom would not close, curtains very old and needing to be replaced). Air conditioner was so loud I could not run it when sleeping. Bed was comfortable enough, and that was all I really needed, but disappointed otherwise.
Negative: The wifi did not work in my room. They wanted to charge me 100 pesos more to have “faster stronger” wifi. Ended up going to a cafe down the street to use wifi for emails etc.
