Just a short 45 minute boat ride from Split harbor the island welcomes visitors with open arms. The sandy tongue or golden rat beach is a little slice of heaven in the Adriatic and is the perfect place to kick back and relax during your trip. There are plenty of sandy coves and inlets to go snorkeling. The island also has many shops and restaurants scattered along its shore line that are ideal for sampling some of the fresh sea food that the island is famously known for.
