Located in Palma’s old town stands the old monastery Convent de la Missió surrounded by narrow streets and gardened patios, rebuilt and adapted in a pure and refined way to an elegant hotel.
The Hotel Convent de la Missió, opened on 2003. The planning and carrying out of the project were a job of Mr Antoni Esteva. He are responsible for the architecture and design, taking care of every little detail. He wanted to emphasize in the leading role of the space, the harmony of each of their components and the silence.
For this reason, he have selected meticulously on one hand, the materials used by the building works and the furniture and the decoration items, The result is a conjunction of old and modern elements, respecting the old character of the convent and at the same time, conferring a modern and up-to-date atmosphere.
Its 14 rooms are all different and individually designed, depending on the space available and on its architecture. Decorated in a pure and milimalistic way, with well-equipped bathrooms.
Its fabulous restaurant Refectori is well-known on its own. Situated within the walls of the hotel and decorated in the same delicate esthetic, offers creative cooking, mixing colours and flavours with a special atmosphere. It consists of dining-room and terrace, the latest with a water-fall and palm trees, and a simple and sophisticated decoración. It is opened all year around from Monday to Friday, for lunches and dinners and on Saturdays just for dinners. Sunday closed.
The former chapel of the convent, houses today a modern and complete conference room. With space for up to 100 people, offers different arranging possibilities (school, theatre, imperial, press conference ...).
Art plays an important role within the hotel, as it shows the careful selection of paintings in the rooms, sculptures and potteries in salons and corridors and of course, the Art Gallery, located in the previous refectory of the convent.

How to arrive
If you take the gateway to Palma, you will come automatically on the Paseo Maritimo, which is located at the harbour of Palma. When you are on it, you have to turn right into the street Avinguda D´Antoni Maura which comes after the cathedral. If you carry on to drive straight the street name changes to Passeig Borne. You drive ahead until the street ends and splits to his left and right (Placa Rei Juan Carlos I).
If Antonio Maura were closed, go straight ahead until the second traffic light and turn right by the park, Continue along the park and on the next traffic light, turn right again into Avenida Jaime III. At the end of this avenue, you would reach Plaza Juan Carlos I.
You have to turn right into the street Unio. You stay on this street until the name changes to Ramblas dels Ducsde Palma de Mallorca. On half way of this street you will see a pharmacy on your right hand side. The street before the pharmacy you have to turn right. It´s a tight street and it´s called Calle Horts.
You drive this one until the end. Again this streets split to the left and right. You drive into the right one which is called Calle de la Missió.
At approximately 50 meters ahead you will see the hotel on the right hand side.
