Sight-seeing attractions in the area include the archaeological site in Sarandapihos. Located close to village Kalithies, it is believed to be part of the acropolis from archaic times. Other archaeological highlights include Erimokastro, located near the sea with ruins of the archaic wall, and the old monastery of Prophet Amos on a hill just outside Faliraki.
