Each bedroom is individual in shape, size and architectural focus. All feature the same interior décor but some rooms look out onto Loch Ness, some onto the five-lock canal staircase of the Caledonian Canal and other have views of the surrounding mountains. Some rooms come with 4.6 ft double beds, others have 5 ft king-size beds or 6 ft super king-size beds, and bathrooms are with shower-only or bath and shower units. The hotel offers 2 room types: studios and deluxe bedrooms and all bedrooms offer modern, technologically advanced facilities. This hotel stands on the site of Kilwhimen Barracks, in the highland town of Fort Augustus, between Fort William and Inverness. In Fort Augustus, guests will find restaurants, pubs, links to the public transport network and shops.
