The Pousada is located in a building of monumental character built around year 1927, in the beginning was a Sanatorium Gil Casares for tuberculosis patients , years later in 1958 became a school for deaf and was from 1963 passing hands of the Provincial de Pontevedra allocating it to Holiday Centre kids child Prince Philip City .
With the construction of the Pousada , it has become distribution without changing his volume but looking for the maximum utilization and accessibility of all the service offered . It consists of a main volume of ground floor , 1st floor and attic , in the form of L and a volume of floor annex northwest wing of the main building , forming a plant together with U-shape with a central courtyard.Exterior walls are made of granite masonry with holes the covering material is curved tile.
