The historic Venetian residence rises near the old monastery of the Madonna del Pero, a small village located in the Venetian Villas area between Venice and Treviso.
The Villa built around the middle of the nineteenth century in classic venetian style, and was made famous during the great war by the illustrious presence of Ernest Hemingway. It was here that this great author was inspired whilst composing some of his most important novels and chose Monastier to have his catholic baptism.
The Relais, completely refurbished in 2001, offers the vistor 31 de luxe rooms, 3 splendid suites and a prestigious cuisine, thanks to the expertise of of Emanuele Rizzoli, the young chef whose specialization allowed him to reach the highest levels of the local Trevigiana cuisine. The villa today conserves all it's original charms; spacious and restful areas, pleasant and harmonious architecture.
