By train: the closest train station to Cortina is Calalzo di Cadore, which is 35 km away. The main train line is Venezia S. Lucia-Calalzo di Cadore from which there is a connecting bus service to Cortina. There are also trains to and from Milan (via Mestre o Padova), Rome (via Mestre o Padova) and main European cities (via Venezia e Milano).
